sorry this isnt a British car its not even a car its a truck a 97 ford ranger 2.3 but i know there are some vary smart people on here may be they can help.

so i have made a video explaining the problem then showing the problem as i am known for bad spelling and lack of punctuation so i figure this will help and then u can all hear the problem to. i will try to enplane it in text as well

so i rebuilt my ranger engine and ever sense that i have had this high idle when the engine is in neutral and my foot is off the gas and i am costing then as i come to a stop the idle will drop back down to a normal idle. i have no idea how high the idle is because i have no tack but i can hear its too high. i looked at the o2 sensor up stream and then down stream and i replaced all the vacuum lines that could have been leaking. as far as i know the computer is not throwing any codes but thats next on my list to check.

the video is still progressing but will be here soon
