GM PCM harness shell disassembly

Does anyon know how to get the back of the PCM harness connector shell off? The harness is for the 340 engine. There are 2 locking tabs on each enn the need to be pressed together, but there is something that is holding it together in the middle. Is there a release tab I am missing?

Larry,

Do you have a picture? Sounds similar to the 0411 plugs. The covers were a real pain to remove in one piece. I'm not putting them back on until I'm sure I'm done.

Scott,

Yes, indeed a real PIA! I finally got them off. I had to partially cut one before I found out how to get them off. There are two slots in the middle that you have to insert a thin screwdriver and then lever to disengage two locking tabs in the middle of the cover. Picture to follow once I get some batteries for my camera.
