T 5 Shifter Bushings?
Posted by: NAS1966

Hi All.

I just purchased a used T 5 and Shifter. It appears there are some items missing, namely a shifter bushing and Knob. ( See Pic )

Does anyone have any info on bushing size and material ? I believe it should be a flanged bronze bushing 16mm ID x 20mm OD x 20mm long with flange 26mm ? The shifter shaft has a 3/8-16 thread.

Seems like the bushing is widely available from various sources on the web: [www.thegearbox.org]
Tons of them on ebay.

The std bushing in the GM and Ford T5 applications are nylon - seem to function fine!
