New guy here, any Jag AJ-V8 experts out there?
EDIT: Since I did a search first and did not find anything relating to this (unless my search terms were off), figured I go ahead and post:
Has anyone been able to determine if the 3.9 in the Lincoln LS can be replaced by any other Jag AJ-V8 motors? I've gotten the wife's go ahead to start researching this possibility in her 2003 Lincoln LS 3.9 AJ35 motor. I'm possibly looking to upgrade to either the AJ33S 4.2 or the AJ133 5.0 Supercharged, as the cost of doing this will still beat buying a new car...this will become MY daily driver, and I want a sleeper... ...heck, if it IS possible to stuff the 5.0 AJ133 SC in there and I like the end results (and if the dreaded common overheating issues with the Lincoln LS can get resolved in this process), I may even let go of my SL55 AMG... ...anyone? Never had a Jag. If I did have a non E-type, it would have a Chevy V8. Yes, it will work.

Re: New guy here, any Jag AJ-V8 experts out there?
The Lincoln LS is the model of car and the AJ35 is the engine series. This engine design was similar to JaguarXK8 (1997-2002). Some of the XK8 owners have installed the Chev LS engine and used a kit by Jaguar Specialities. This is a very good kit, but only up to the 2002 XK8. The later ECM and other electronics do not interface with their kit. The 2003 and up used a Can Bus system not found on earlier XK8's. The 2003-2006 XK8 used the AJ34 and the Lincoln LS and Ford Super Coupe used the AJ35 in super charged form as did the XKR's. My limited knowledge is due to limited time and experience in the new category. The learning curve is STEEP! :-)
