Using a Fidanza steel insert, .156" thick, 1050 steel, 9.5" and 6" dia's. Using 7075 T-651 aluminum,(strongest com. avail). Minimum thickness behind insert ? Minimum slippage/temp rise. Cover is rated at 410 ft/lbs. Thanks, roverman.
