motorbike carbs anyone?
Hello all
has anyone run motorbike carbs on there Spitfire.I have a set from a 1996 Yamaha and was wondering about manifolds and jetting.Any info would be great.Theres lots of info out in web land but it would be great to speak to someone who has actually done this upgrade. At present I run a standard 1500cc engine in a MKIV but am looking to fit a GT6 engine with the said bike carbs. cheers all Dave(Biggles) |

Re: motorbike carbs anyone?
A friend of mine brought back photos from the Triumph meet last year in Colorado and one of these was of a TR6 running motorcycle carbs. I'll try to find the photo and post it. Don't have any information on the details though.

Took these photos at Truimphest 2008.
This was a TR6. There is a company in Oregon that sells cycle carbs for spitfire and TR6/4/250, "Very Pricey" . I'll have to look up the website. Oh! here it is [www.prirace.com]. I would give this company a call! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/15/2009 11:17AM by 74ls1tr6. |
