For all of you out there that have swapped in a Ford 8.8” rear end into your MGB, what have you used for new break lines?

The fixed brake lines? I think most people will have made their own.

True...and then there's the question of brake groups for drop hose selection - drum or OEM Ford disc/calipers?
On mine, I retained the MG 3-way connector and drop hose to the rear axle, new hard 3/16" hard lines to weld tabs near the axle end and then a flex hose out to (in my case) Ford Mustang calipers. Photos to show hardware used.

Haha, someone's good with a pipe bender. It's a shame there aren't more show prizes for Best Brake Pipe :}

And weld tags, an improvement on the more popular cable ties.

I think what you are seeing is the caliper e-brake return spring coil, Ivor!
Nothing sophisticated about my pipe bending techniques, mostly good old fashioned finger power.

Oh.
Is that what it is.
E bah gum.

Springs... my 34 Lanchester that was my daily in the 70s had old sofa springs lashed with baling wire between the drop arm and the leaf springs to 'compensate' for the worn steering box. Didn't look as smart as yours though.
