Best diff for road/circuit racing in a Ford 8.8

After my stupid mistake this past weekend, I'm debating between building up another Salisbury axle for my SD1, or just going explorer 8.8
I was using a Salisbury posi in my SD1, but pretty sure that is now a paper weight (they don't last long when all the oil disappears). :-(

So, the stock ford 8.8 posi with the S-spring (trak-lok???) - are these really any good for proper track work? I understand cartbon plates are available - and the plates can be changed without pulling the diff out? That sounds good, but the car will be used in endurance racing (14-24 hrs per weekend) so need reliability.

What about other types? I know there is a Torsen available from Ford Racing, but does that lose drive torque if a single wheel is in the air like a quaife does?

Tru-Trac, similar to Torsen but stronger. The Trac-Lok with carbon plates and alternating with steel plates works well. Use Ford additive.

The tru-Trac seems to be one that loses drive with a wheel lifted based on what I’ll seeing online? Can you confirm?

I think it does.

Take a look at Wavetrac Dave.
We've put them into a bunch of cars now. No issues at all!
No drive loss with a lifted wheel. Very smooth and predictable. No special oils or additives
Warrantied forever if installed by one of their dealers.
Stuck one into our Acura road car and couldn't be happier. No more fighting the steering wheel. No more drive loss on the long sweepers. And no more clutch plate debris clogging up the third gear syncro.
