I'm contemplating using the intermediate front cover on my present engine build.
I have done some search on site and have read quite a few post.
Does anyone know the Rover part # for this.
Also would like any thoughts and caveats and gotchas

I’ve got a few spare that I can sell.
They work great; tons of oil pressure and no more pump / gear drive issues.
The only negatives are you can’t spin them up to build pressure using a drill, they usually don’t pump enough at cranking on a new build to make pressure on the starter, and you really need to use a cam button or machine the cam and block for a retainer.

Personally I pressure lube the engine thru the oil pressure switch hole anyway so not an issue for me….

Will the cover work with a stock 215 crank or is the snout too short?

Where did my post go?

At the very least, you will have to enlarge the keyway.
