Looks good Nick. I did find when I made mine it needed either a lube groove in the bushing or on the shaft. It would bind a little when it got warm and make a weird noise.
I cut two shallow sprial grooves in the dist shaft where the bushing rides. One clockwise, and the other counter clockwise. I used a cut-off wheel, the smoothed the groove edges with fine sand paper. So it wouldn't cut the bushing. Oil now has a way to travel up and back down through the grooves.

Smart. I was just thinking about how I was going to cut the bushing. That makes it a bit less complicated. Did you cross the grooves? I was also considering cutting a groove around the ID of the stub housing right about where the oils in the bushing are located. Maybe this would hold some residual oil to lubricate the shaft that way too. That my be going over board though.

Yes, I did cross the grooves. Once if I remember correctly.
