14CUX Hotwire EFi and Piper 270/110 camshaft
Hi all,
I'm just planning to install a 14CUX Hotwire system on my Rover V8 and from Curtis' excellent write-up 'Service and Troubleshoot Rover 14CUX Electronic Fuel Injection' I noted his comment about 'the 14CUX system has a hard time adapting to a cam with a lobe separation angle under 112 degrees' and wonder what the impact would be of running EFi without replacing the cam which I believe is just a fast road cam - good idle, good midrange and good torque? Any advice would be most welcome? Many thanks, Darren |
