Bernard, I talked to "Pete" today. VERY interesting! No EB welding, but lot's of data exchanged. I suggest reading the 907 thread. Thanks again for the lead. I predict a very good year for sbb/Rover. roverman.

I'm still lookin.Virgin heads in dire need of sacrificing to the horsepower gods. Pete Aaardema say he "tigs" together between ink/ehx. valves. I want "EB" between companion cylinders, I believe to be more durable. I firmly believe this head will out-flow the, "TA" or "Wildcat". I'd like to prove it. I'm thinkin they'd work pretty good, even on a 4" bore. Unfortunately, it looks like we're unable to-"MIKE" a 4.020" bore ! ever.......roverman

I knew some guys in Florida that had a sweet rig to do "plasma" welding.
I suspect that it's a different term for the same process.
If you're (fairly) interested, I'll dig them out, but it'll take a bit of sleuthing.

Why not look at the flow numbers first and determine if it's worth pursuing?

Bernard and clan. Because sometimes, a red headed step child, needs a chance? This is all "yaaked" in the the head thread. Home ported head flowed 294cfm. @28" in a 3.75 bore. I believe it will out perform the latest-greatest from TA. In spite of this, the ported "907" should out perform both for street use,(area under the curve). Time will tell, roverman.

I just remembered reading about some factory show circuit specials that had V12 (IIRC) made from two blocks and four heads electron welded. If you're still looking for someone to perform that specific task, I'd suggest looking along those lines.
