Willwood Mustang II dropped spindles
They claim 3X in strength over oem. Improved geometry(taller) and included bolt-on steering arms(front/rear steer). Sold individually,(handy for sloppy racing). I shall attemp to install early,"A body",Cuda ball jont/steering arm, to this spindle .Might be handy for British cars ? Cheers, roverman.

Re: Willwood Mustang II dropped spindles
They were jointly developed with Morrison. If I was building from scratch that is what I would use. Only, I would use a little longer coilovers than Mustang II. Probably 67-69 Camaro,64-72 GM mid-size or 85-92 S-10 ( all the same,5" travel instead of 3",10" spring instead of 8").

Re: Willwood Mustang II dropped spindles
Jim and clan, I'm keepin the torsion bars for now. I like the potential for front rack,(Dakota) somewhere in future? Seems a lot less "clunky" than mopar ,droped anchors(spindles). roverman.

Re: Willwood Mustang II dropped spindles
What is it with all the over kill on big brakes ! I didn't even know Wilwood made Mustang 2 drop spindles , I'm getting the regular drop spindles for 169.00 for the pair , 40 each for the hub / rotor and I can get the stock calipers for 18 ea , which is unbelievable . I can see where this will stop my spriget just fine with the Ford disc in the back , I will stop on a dime if you ask me. I think I can build the whole front end for about 500.00 and about 850.00 on the back . I am splurging for a Wilwood brake peddle set at 315.00 . So for about 3 grand I should have a well handling ,nice stopping roller.

Re: Willwood Mustang II dropped spindles
Sir William, some like to brag about "much" they spent, some about how clever they are about saving. Personally, I like the way "braggers" support our economy, that way, we can glide under the radar an try to cope with our guilt, lol. roverman.
