I.R.S., trailing link or sla. ? Asking too much ?

Seems no one will talk about this ? Some skilled advice, now, could save me a lot of headaches-later. I'm leaning towards Porsche 911 style, trailing link/ control arms, for rear of Hemi Healey. Just so happens, Boxter S axles,(half-shafts), fit 911 control arms perfectly. This should be much simpler to fab than, from-scratch sla. suspension. Rear tread width will be 10-11", with a 35-40 aspect ratio. This means I don't want a big de-chamber curve. I suspect approx. 1 deg. negative camber at static height, with trailing links, should be close enough ? I could use some skilled suspension input. Anybody ? Thanks, roverman.
