Wheel stud question

I need longer studs for my rear axle. Haven't been able to find a x-reference for the knurl diameter on parts used for the IRS so am thinking I can just remove one & measure it. Once i know the diameter, is it safe to assume I can use the same or size up slightly (redrilling the holes if necessary)?

Worked for me... (so far)

The Dorman site also proved useful. Lots of stud specs here: [www.dormanproducts.com]
