Rear sway Bar

I want to put a rear sway bar on a 67 MGB wth a banjo rear axle any help on a good kit or what parts we need to acquire to do this I have a full home machine shop and welding isnt a problem

Aadco makes a rear bar. You should use a 7/8 front bar if using rear.

Tell us about your current setup & intended use. Why do you want a rear bar? Not saying you don't need one, but most CB MGs really don't.

I just re-installed my rear end with new gears and my lowered leaf springs. My rear sway bar bracket holes no longer line up so I'll have to adjust the ends. Is the adjustment just a matter of aligning the holes or some other parameter?

First question is this MGB R/E you are using or another modified brand? Next be sure your pinion angle is correct in relationship to the transmission/engine assembly. once these angles are correct, just adjust the bar ends to a snug fit and all should be good. Do not ASSUME they are correct since the engine and body have changed in relationship to the drive train. SAFTEY FASTER!

RE is stock 78 MGB. Right now engine and trans are not in the car so angle checking will have to wait. Because it is easy to change back to the original setting, I went ahead and adjusted the ends to see how it looked. Had to lengthen ~.6". As I consider the RE articulation once the car is on the road, it appears bound and allowed to pivot about the points of attachment to the frame. I don't see a problem.

I have lowered leafs on my '79. Did not adjust or change anything on the rear sway bar.
