i just recently purchased a 1959 100-6 with 5.0, narrowed 8 inch rear and shortened mgb steering rack and pinion. could someone please explain exactly what has to be done to the original mgb rack and is there anything that i should check out with the an aside i originally bought the car in 1967 while stationed at ft sill ok. i installed a 289 and three speed manual. i sold the car early 80s. i found it in nc years later and was able to buy it from owner in minnesota. the major mods were done by later owners...
