MGB Rear Sway Bar Mount (bracket)
Posted by: harv8

Does anyone know if the rear sway bar mounts / brackets are available from any supplier? These mounts / brackets are the ones fitted to 1977 -1980 MGB roadsters that locate the ends of the rear sway bar to the body. My 74.5 GT never came with a rear factory sway bar. The brackets are needed to locate the upper arms of my new 4-link suspension set up.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Martyn

OK, I guess we'll make some custom brackets that will be much better than the original factory ones!

Martyn,
For the record, I couldn't find any aftermarket source for these brkts, so I ended up measuring a set from a friend's '79 and fabricating my own - they are a little awkward to MIG weld in position but managed in the end.
