"Jabroc" hi density wood
1/2 the strength of steel with 1/5 the weight. Distributed by Pegasus Auto Racing. They say skid plates, but how about bulkheads /etc. ? roverman.

Re: "Jabroc" hi density wood
Kinda like this, eh?
more info/photos: [www.britishracecar.com] $73 plus shipping for a 20" by 40" piece seems pretty extravagant to me. Maybe you could just get some lauan plywood and coat it with a good layer of epoxy resin. |

Re: "Jabroc" hi density wood
Jabroc is not light, and is expensive, carbon/ epoxy using aluminum honeycomb or a foam core like klegecell ,divinicell would make good bulkhead s etc, easy to vacbag flatstock. Jabroc appears to be layers of wood veneer bonded with resin and compressed mightily,, thats why it makes good rub blocks.

Re: "Jabroc" hi density wood, titanium ?
Ok, rub blocks, got it. Perhaps on Hemi Healey, but if so, titanium would be a better show. roverman.
