MGBGT front fender, does anyone have a method to bend the steel fender bead without kinking it, not had much success yet. Thanks Mark

Mark, This might be known as "fender rolling" ? I believe they use progressively larger rollers(sticks), between the desired wheel tire combo, and the fender lip.By rolling it through, with gradual size increase, kinking is prevented. FWIW. roverman.

I wedged a baseball bat between the tire and the fender lip and slowly worked it over. This was on a TR6. It doesn't do anything good for the bat.

The Eastwood company makes a pretty slick fender bead roller.
It bolts on the wheel hub and extends out to the fender with a urethane roller.
It's not that expensive to buy and several places even rent them out.

How much clearance do you need to add? If it's not a lot, a side grinder might do the trick.
