3D CAD files for Sebring Fenders

Hello all,

I have had a designer create some 3D CAD files for 3D printing of Sebring flares for molds and making bucks. I have *not* tried these out yet, so not sure of the accuracy of them, so "buyer" beware. I also want everyone to know that the fender were designed intentionally to accommodate wider wheels than Sebring standard. Also, the flare to body transition tapers are not as smooth as I'd like and would have to be worked out on the fenders, probably by slicing and flaring the fender out to meet the flares. In any case, they are free to download--I just need someone to tell me how and where to send the files to put them on the site. I have attached an example pic for reference.

If anyone does use these, let me know how they work out--I can try to get the designer to make updates to the files if I have specific feedback.

My own opinion is that those are really ugly and I don't know why anyone would put them on their car if they were not required for racing. YMMV.

Jim and Carl,

I am trying to build a "Sebring" style B, which these were modeled after. I do like the ones Carl posted, but it's not the style I was planning for. I'm still weighing what I want to do--having this CAD work only cost $150, so it's not a big investment so far.

I don't believe that the forum is setup for you to upload the the files like yo would a pic. Curtis would have to build a page for members to access them.

My suggestion is to sign up for a free (up to 2Gb) Dropbox account to store the files & provide a link for those that would like to download them.

Sounds like a good plan--I'll take care of that soon. Thanks Carl.
