Looking for MGB with Filler cap behind tail lens
Hi,
a few month ago I ran across an MGB that had the gas filler cap behind the passenger side tail light. I saved the link but my PC broke,so I lost the link, can anyone help? Thanks, Repairmeister |

On the Chevy, didn't the reflector assembly swing down with the lens? Maybe doing that a hood hinge mounted at the bottom could work.

The 55 had a standard door in the left quarter panel. The 56 had what you describe. I liked the 57 the best with a door in the middle of the tail fin.

I believe this feature first appeared on a Cadillac, about 1953 or 54....another way to go is the hinged license plate bracket - try GM cars from the
70's thru 80's @ your local pick n`pull.. these can also be mounted upside down. I have one hiding a hitch receiver under the front bumper of a pickup- makes parking a trailer easy , Doug |
