Nagging electrical issue.

When my car sits for a while (sometimes just overnight, sometimes a couple of days), my driver door solenoid energizes and the door pops open.

Wiring is pretty simple. +12v comes from the battery through a circuit breaker and then a relay. The relay is triggered by connecting ground to the trigger coil.

The passenger side is wired the same and does not have the problem.

One of the ways ground is provided to the relay trigger is via a wireless remote and originally I thought one of my neighbors' garage door openers must have been on the same frequency. But, we've since moved and it sometimes happens when left overnight at a hotel so that's not it.

I changed the relay and that seemed to fix it for a while, then it came back.

I also changed the solenoid, but it's still happening.

Thoughts on how to figure out what's causing it?

You might try disconnecting the wireless receiver from the relay for awhile to see if it still opens, just to eliminate that as the cause.
