Re: Fender Repair
Nice job. Are you going to tackle the bumper or just buy a new one? With the cost of rechroming these days it might be better to just buy a replacement.

Re: Fender Repair
Jim, bumper was shot, creased so I tossed it. Either I’ll purchase a new one or look to reshape the rear. I’m thinking to center line the tank and split the exhaust.

Re: Fender Repair
Very impressive. That would have been a couple of grand in a UK bodyshop.
You know about the stainless bumpers... [groupharrington.com]. Have heard good report of them. Ivor |

Re: Fender Repair
I had a nice chrome bumper laying around that I pulled from a parts car. Just trying to locate the over riders I pulled off the wrecked bumper as they were still in good shape. No idea where I put them. Stainless would be nice, though I didn’t the front bumper and shipping from UK ain’t cheap, hell, shipping from anywhere ain’t cheap these days.

Re: Fender Repair
Group Harrington iirc are run by a Brit, but they're in Vietnam.
Don't know if they will supply rear only. Where I put them... so, it's not just me ... lol Ivor |
