Anyone heard of "Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festiva" ? Say, a quite knowledgeble fellow like Jim Stabe ? Just occured 2 weeks ago.Takes place on Navy base , Coronado Island, San Diego. Maybe next year ? roverman.

Art, I saw something about that event on television a few weeks back. They were doing a show about vintage trans am cars and they were racing there at Coronado. It was on the show "Car Crazy" here's the link to the video [www.carcrazycentral.com]

Sounds like the old days when Curtis Le May let the sports cars run at the various air force bases.
