Here's a great in car video which captures the exciting start of the final race of the Labor Day Weekend event. The mix bore grid is loaded with V-8's itching to hammer down on the driest track of the weekend. As the green falls heading into the first turn chicane cars are stretched 4 -5 wide. Not to be left in their wake Arnie Loyning attempts out brake the bigger cars and threads his Lotus Elan to the far inside, puts 2 wheels off, spins 360, stays on the inside line and improves a few positions all in a matter of seconds. The race ended a few laps later when the white Triumph scattered his engine over the entire track.
