Had a great time at the Heartland Vintage Races this past weekend. Great racing and some really neat cars. Some teaser photos.

Bill,

Great photos from the Heartland Park weekend.

Hope you have some more - like maybe a photo of the Ambrose Triumph ? ? That was my favorite at the event.

What a good time .... and I don't know how you handled the heat for 4 days. The 3 days were about too much for me. Oh yeah, you kept cool in your Midget convertible at the PDX Driving School on the first day. Congratulations on getting your license to compete !

keep them on the track,

phillip g

I'll be sending Curtis a CD with the photos I have, way too many to post here. I did manage to get a fairly complete set of photos of the Triumph TR4 based Ambro, hopefully enough and of good quality for Curtis to run an article. Also got a few of the other two Ambro bodied cars there, however both of those were V8s on custom chassis.

Bill,

Can't wait for Curtis's entry on all the fabulous cars that were towed in from all over the country for the Topeka-Heartland Vintage event. Topeka, Kansas is SO much the center of the USA for sports car events.

keep them on the track

I feel really sad that I wasn't able to make it to Topeka to see these cars and especially to see Phillip's RV8! Soon...
