Ooooops! Link fixed.
I understand that there were three particularly famous / successful Jaguar XK120 specials back in the day... and I've been lucky to track down two of them. If I can find and cover "The Pickering Special" I'll have them all. Anybody ever heard of it? Where should I look? I don't think it's raced in years. |

Curtis,
Your article on Walt Hansgens' Jaguar Special should be picked up by Car and Driver. It is an exceptional piece of SCCA history and should become a piece of the sports car racing world of historical journalism. keep on keeping them on the track, phillip g |

Curtis,
On the Pickering Special search. There was a Ray Pickering SCCA racer in Lawrence, Kansas years ago. I think he had the BMC dealership and was big on Triumphs. Are they one and the same ? keep them on the track, phillip g |
