This handsome little car is exceptionally well presented:

Jim Johnson's March 729 Formula Ford (53 photos)

March's very first car was a "693", or in other words a Formula Three car built during 1969. It only raced three times. As far as I can tell, it's been lost to history. This "729" is as close to that one 693 in design and construction as we're likely to ever see. March only built a handful of tube-frame cars before moving to aluminum monocoque designs.
