What next after a hemi-powered Allard? Maximum contrast? How about...

Paul and Darry Bova's 1959 Turner Sports Mk1 Racecar

Today seems like an especially good day to remember this car's creator: Jack Turner (April 1, 1916 - March 7, 2011.)

I know a lot of you are fans of bugeye Sprites. On the one hand, this little giant slayer shares quite a lot of parts with them. That said, I think it's fascinating how different the two designs are. Check it out!

I don't know who has Keith's Mk1. Paul has raced this one since 2002. I think Keith kept his through mid decade. I sent Keith an e-mail the other day but it bounced back... I hope he's okay.

Nice article Curtis. A really neat car, gives me some ideas for one of my projects as far as the chassis goes.
