Mammoth Lester MG article!

All those races described in "The Last Open Road"... well, this car was at all of them!

Duncan Black's Lester MG Racecar ("KUR4")

If you have friends who prefer older MG models, please consider recommending this article to them. Especially if they followed road-racing in the early fifties, they're likely to remember the famous Lester MG racecars fondly.

Thanks Curtis! Read the whole thing (a couple of times). Terrific looking cars, great story.

Curtis,

Historical coverage - especially of the MG efforts.

Your work will be a letter of marque with the SCCA.

Thank you

Some articles generate a lot of e-mail... in this case, I've received some very cool old photos. I've amended the article to include them.

Example:

Nice socks, granddad!

(p.s. I was told that this photo was taken at Vineland in New Jersey. Have any of you ever been there? I'm a little bit skeptical because it doesn't seem to match other photos of that track. Anyone know for sure?)
