Design Features of the Merlyn Mk20

This week's article is about a Merlyn Formula Ford.

Merlyns were dominant in British Formula Ford racing in 1970 and 1971. The company exported a lot of racecars to North America, but they weren't so all-conquering here. Nowadays, I understand that dealers are buying these cars up and shipping them back to the old country... which I think is a pity because I like seeing them here. Here's a very nice example of the 1971 version:
