Ok vintage racing types, where would a 5L. RV8 best "fit" in vintage racing ? British made vehicle would be prefered, but which ? Would be easier to build a 5.4L,(component selection). As of now, I'm considering a TR 8 in Texas Mile and drags. Anybody ? Thanks, roverman.

Generally, "vintage racing" organizations accept pretty much anything built through 1972. Racecars built after 1972 might or might not be accepted. For that reason, a Triumph TR8 owner has far fewer places and opportunities to race than a Lotus 19 owner.
