cast iron 300/340 heads
Hi, I'm race prepping a pair for 4.6 Rover in TR7 for 1/8mi. drags using E85 fuel. Trying to make at least 120 cfm. @ 10" on intake side. Flow "flatlines" at 106 cfm. from .400"/.600" L. I believe I read Tim Lanocha was making 280 rwhp. with these heads? Also, anyone versed with retrofiting Lotus 907 heads on the Rover? I've done preliminary mock-up but would like to hear others work in this area. Any skilled contributions are welcomed. Thanks, Art.

Re: cast iron 300/340 heads
If you're after performance rather than Bling, and you can afford to wait until early next year, TA Performance is working on a Rover head that is an offshoot of their highly successful Buick V6 head design. The flow numbers are up there, fairly detailed discussion of it in in a thread on this site.
