V6 conversion/tub

I have a complete V6 swap I can let go at a good price. It's in the Chump car that we never finished. For that matter I can let the entire car go minus the windshield, front fenders, king pins and spindles. New Mustang radiator, 2.8L engine should run but uses oil, T4 4 speed transmission. Interior has been stripped out. It's a '74 RB car, has had floor work done but still has a few tiny holes on the passenger's side. CB crossmember and de-arched rear springs. Door skins are tacked on but I have replacement doors. The skins will be removed when I remove the front fenders but will stay with the tub. Aluminum hood. Price would depend on what you want but I think it's time to move it along. At least I should sell the V6 setup which is complete and should be an inexpensive way to do the conversion with the better engine and transmission. Uses cylinder head mounted engine mounts with vertical donut type cushions and does have the alternator and a large electric fan and relay. (Volvo relay, fan may be that or more likely Caravan.) Pretty sure it has a new clutch. I suspect we used an external slave and that should still work, Brakes were also working.until I removed the rotors. Rear fenders and trunk lid are good, body and tub are straight but has light rust here and there.

Located just south of the Cincinnati beltway. If you want the conversion only you will probably have to help remove it. I can put you up overnight in our guest suite while doing that.

I'll accept $800 for the conversion provided you help remove it, $400 for the tub either afterwards or with the conversion. I won't sell just the tub while the conversion remains in it.

I think I've just about decided to keep the tub. Pulled the wheels, kingpins and fenders off and I may use the rest for a project eventually. Got it sitting on a mill cart at the moment and thinking about pulling the running gear. I can be pretty flexible on price if anyone wants that stuff, after all it's not eating anything but space. I will try to post some photos soon.

So here are some photos of the conversion. Name the part and make me an offer if you want any of it. Forget the prices above they never made a lot of sense anyway but rules are rules yes? The engine and tranny have to come out of course but I have no deadline for that, probably in the next couple of weeks though. The bumpers will come off and it's likely that I will begin to section the shell to shrink it down dimensionally. Probably keep the rear axle and front suspension. Otherwise it's pretty up for grabs. I don't really expect much if any interest in the engine or 4 speed but the bell and flywheel would be useful. May be a new clutch and PP but I don't remember. I'll know more later.

The engine does turn. Should run if the distributor is wired up correctly, that was where we stopped.

Disassembly has begun, the window is closing. Engine and trans are still together as a unit, I will take $150 and you pick them up. If you want the Y pipe that matches the manifolds throw in another 20. New Mustang radiator and Chrysler fan, $75. It'll sell or go to the recycler, doesn't make a lot of difference to me at this point.

That T-4 sure looks like T-5.

I suspect it's mostly the same except for the countershaft, tailshaft, extension housing and possibly the rear plate. IDK if parts are interchangeable with the T5 but they might be.
