New Here
Hi All,
I'm not new to British cars but I am new here. I recently completed a 3.9L Rover V8 swap into a 1977 MGB. It took me a few years but I'm finally driving it. I recently submitted a "How it was done" so hopefully all the details will be available soon. Meanwhile here are a few pictures. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/01/2009 11:31AM by mjackwoo. |

Some nice eye candy under that hood, you did a very nice job. Looking forward to seeing the car and you in person at Indy if you can make it.

Re: New Here
Thanks for the nice comments guys.
I think I'm about done sorting this car out. I just replaced the old tired fuel pump with a Holly (red label) pump and drove her around the block a few times last night. All went well so I drove it into work this morning. Nice cool morning in GA. Felt great! |

Re: New Here
Welcome Mark! "A big hound dog howdy to you!" Where in Ga. do you reside? May see you at some of the meets in the south. I live just North of Huntsville Al. Nice car and good looking work.

Re: New Here
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the nice comments. I live in a little town just south of Athens, GA. If you are ever in the area, look me up and stop and say 'Hay'. I'll keep a watch out for some of the meets in the south. I've seen V8 conversions at most of the British car meets but are there any meets specific to MGB V8's here is the South? |
