Sorry so late to the party, how did it work out? They've been in Cadillacs/Buicks/Olds for ages. Never had a Caddy that didn't have one. If it was me I'd go to the junk yard and yank one out of the dash. Or Saturn, new stuff and they're discontinued so I imagine NOS would be cheap.

Hey Tim, I still haven’t powered mine up yet. I’ll be fine, but I’m experiencing some pretty server health issues, and a lot of radiation treatments, so it may be a while before I can get back to the GT. As soon as I can I’ll post the results, but I have a pretty good feeling that it will work ok.

Thanks Tim, I'll be fine. I just haven't had time to do much with the B, but plan to order a few parts Wednesday.

Thanks Carl! This may have set me back a little but even if I don't get the GT on the road in time, I plan on coming to Palestine. I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys and shaking the hand of everybody who helped me make the decision to go V8 and without whose help and advice I would ever have been able to do it.

This is a dumb question I suppose, but I’m thinking of buying and installing a battery this weekend and I’ve decided to give my electrical system another tech check before I do. The instructions that came with my DEI 545T auto headlight kit is nowhere to be found; DEI doesn’t admit to making them, at least not on there site. I know it’s a lot of trouble, but if someone has the instructions, would it be possible to scan and post it so I can check what I have done again before I burn everything up? Thanks!

Paul
