Is this driveline angle OK?

I'm new to this game and I was wondering if these driveline angles are OK? Just how much offset can u-joints take? It's a TR6 with a Ford 302, a T5 transmission, and a Q45 Richard Good differential.

Thanks,

George

I think I am OK in the vertical axis, but I am worried that the differential sits too far to the right (when viewed from above).

Mine looks the same as yours George. I don't think you want it dead on anyway. U-joints need to work a little!

Thanks Rick and Calvin. If it's good enough for Calvin then I'll be sleeping easier tonight.

As long as the angle between the centerline of the trans and differential pinion are parallel in both the vertical and horizontal axis any minor offset won't be a problem, in fact it's actually better to some extent for the life of the needle bearings in the u-joints. The booklet you can download from this link will explain it very well. [www.iedls.com]
