Good results from the dyno yesterday.
The blower made 7psi and I had the ign set at 19 degree's of max advance. She pulled a no drama's run on the dyno with 335bhp and 468ft/lbs of torque. Fuelling from the stock Edelbrock 800 was rich up to 2000 rpm and then leaned off to almost perfect at full pedal. A top up of tranny oil seems to have lost the apparent slip as she made a wheel speed of 142mph at 5700 rpm.

Now I have a starting point to tune from. Next job is another pulley to see if I can tweak it up to 10psi and then add a sniff of gas from the direct port injection I've just made.

Great results from the track yesterday. After messing over 5 test passes with ign timing I found the sweet spot for the 7psi of boost and she now runs 11.7's with the tune..

I'm very very happy with the results so far.

60 foot times are only 1.7 and 1.8 which is a little off my old 1.5's and I cant believe how calm she feels off the line even though the 60 foot times are only around 0.3 of a second slower.

I have already ordered my new pulley to go up to 10psi of boost so I can do more testing.

More dyno results!!!

I fitted the 10pis pulley and added fuel and she pulled 350hp with 503ft/lbs on the dyno last Saturday.

I am leaving the tune as it is for now. I want to take it for testing this next weekend. I have 2 days of track time to play. :)

I still have my old nitrous system fitted and ready to rock. But I dont think I'll be adding an extra 450hp of gas anytime soon :)

I made 11.7 with the 7psi setup I'm hoping to go low 11's with the 10 psi ?

Those low 11's with the 10psi pulleys actually turned out to be regular 10.4's.....now it must be time to finish plumbing that direct port nitrous kit Perry. :-)
