Thanks Dan & Jim for a Great time in Townsend!
Dan & Jim pulled together another great meet for us. Friends from all over gathered at The Talley Ho Inn and seemed like a extension of all the great meets prior. New member/drivers showed up and some of the regulars were unable to attend, but were sorely missed, you know who you are). Don't forget, first week-end in Oct is the Informal Gathering in Townsend. Great to see all the FAMILY.
PS-- No Medical Emergency noted this year :-) |

Well stated Kelly...as the years go by, the meet in Townsend just gets better...I am always impressed by the way new attendees easily assimilate into the group, a testimony to Dan and Jim and of course the rest of the participants...

Dan, Jim Both Marilyn and I had a great time.
Really glad that you both talked to the weather girl and talked her into providing GREAT weather. This morning at home it was 42 deg. with rain and a strong wind. Made me really wish I was back in Townsend. By the way the museum at Oak Ridge is well worth going to. Merv |

Thanks so much for your efforts Dan and Jim! It was great to see old friends and make new ones. The further North I went, the colder and wetter it got! Today, Saturday, we saw wind and rain and sleet. It made me realize TN is paradise for LBCs!
Looking forward to October already! Mike |

Re: Thanks Dan & Jim for a Great time in Townsend!
The meet in Townsend was fantastic. Mostly good weather and always great roads - Thanks Dan & Jim. I want to sincerely thank Jim Blackwood, Jim Watson and Mickey Richaud for there tremendous help getting my car back on the road after the shock link disaster. Jim Blackwood for his help working on the car and coming up with a plan, Jim Watson for the use the welder at his shop and Mickey Richaud for bringing a floor jack and jack stands to keep us safe while doing the repair.. The welding job held together because I made it up the Dragon and back down. I still don't understand why Darryl Siefert got out and kissed the ground when we got to Deals Gap! I really appreciate the tremendous help and it just underscores what a great group of people are associated with the British V8 group.

Glad I was here to assist, Ken. Those two little jacks perched under your Jag were SCARY!

Had to be at least as much fun as the air museum.
